I conceive art as a search for beauty, a constantly renewed attempt to capture and recreate the wonder, the emotion aroused by the perception and contemplation of beauty, an emanation of the universal and inexpressible Essence that vibrates in all forms of Creation.

 

Although sometimes deeply buried, we can still discern it even in the most miserable of human conditions. Then on his canvas, the artist allows himself to transcend the misery and to give his subjects the real glow that belongs to them.

 

Beauty heals the soul, say the Navajos.

 

And the poet would write : 

'I will not speak, I will not think anything:

But infinite love will rise in my soul.'
